Visitors will be led by a blind guide through a series of themed rooms that stimulate everyday environments, in complete darkness. Be it a stroll in the park or navigating across a busy road, visitors are challenged out of their comfort zone to tap into
their non-visual senses and develop a deeper appreciation for their sightedness. With the reversal of roles, the blind guide brings visitors to a world which is no less fulfilling – just different.
Through interactive activities, engaging videos, and candid dialogues led by vision impaired facilitators, participants gain insights into the lives of the blind and debunk stereotypes of the community. This empathy building programme can be conducted
fully online, or face-to-face.
Participants will enjoy a full course meal, with no knowledge of what is on the menu. By relying on senses other than sight, they get to experience dining like never before, where they listen to stories and participate in activities led by a vision-impaired host.
Come to the Table is a great team event to enhance connections, build a more caring community, and promote a more inclusive culture.
Let our vision-impaired guides inspire members of your school or organization with their life stories. In this hour-long motivational talk, the audience will be awakened to new perceptions of their own abilities, driven from apathy to possibilities, and
walk away with a renewed outlook on life.
4SIGHTS is a programme specially designed for children under 6 years old to build their self-confidence and foster empathy in them. Through songs, storytelling and other hands-on activities, participants are actively engaged in fun and meaningful ways,
to learn more about the world of the blind.
