Yes, there is only one Dialogue in the Dark facility in Singapore, located at Ngee Ann Polytechnic.
Participants go into the dark exhibition in groups of 8, led by a visually-impaired guide. In total darkness, they will go through themed rooms that simulate familiar environments such as a park and a busy street. As they experience some of the daily challenges of a totally blind person, they develop empathy and gratitude and debunk common stereotypes of the blind. In navigating the spaces, they gain more awareness of themselves and others, and while dialoguing with their visually impaired guide, they get to be inspired to be more resilient.
