Workplace Mental Well-being Essentials
Tailored to your workplace
Since June 2026, our Workplace Mental Well-being Essentials programme has been tailored and delivered on an ongoing, organisation-wide basis at Certis, reaching staff across different roles, from frontline officers to corporate staff.
Built for busy schedules
Employees across Certis’s frontline and corporate teams come together for 4 hours asynchronous and 4 hours in-person session, learning practical mental well-being skills through experiential, scenario-based activities tailored to their daily work.

Simple tools, real impact
The 5-4-3-2-1 grounding technique, one of the practical tools taught in the programme, helps employees self-regulate in the moment and support colleagues who may be struggling.

A partnership that keeps growing
The 11th run of the Workplace Mental Well-being Essentials programme at Certis, continuing an ongoing partnership that brings mental well-being training to frontline and office-based staff alike.
In their words
“Our collaboration with Ngee Ann Polytechnic (NP) is key. Drawing on NP’s expertise, we have co-developed a mental resilience programme that is practical, well grounded, and relevant at every level. Thank you, Team Ngee Ann, for helping us create a safer, smarter, and better world together.”
Dr Jaclyn Lee,
Chief Human Resources Officer, Certis
Chief Executive, Certis Corporate University
Certified Mental Wellness Coach and Facilitator

Grounded in proven frameworks
Participants are trained using frameworks such as PERMAPLUSM, a model widely applied in sports psychology, to build durable, applied skills that extend beyond one-off awareness building.

Learning by doing
Participants take part in a gratitude circle exercise, learning to facilitate it themselves so they can lead others in building resilience and mental well-being at work.

Fostering positive relationships
Facilitators-in-training piece together individually crafted artwork, experiencing firsthand how to guide this powerful relationship-building activity.

No one left behind
Inclusivity is embedded in our course design rather than created as an afterthought. In this run, the programme was adapted to enable a visually impaired participant to complete every activity alongside her peers.

From learners to practitioners
Graduates of the Certified Mental Wellness Coach and Facilitator course move beyond conceptual learning to practise as facilitators themselves, ready to lead activities supporting the mental well-being of others.
