Southeast Asia Immersion Leadership (SAIL)
SAIL (Southeast Asia Immersion & Leadership) is NP’s two-week flagship leadership programme that gives student leaders immersive exposure to the region through real-world experiences and cross-cultural collaboration.
Participants travel to two Southeast Asian cities where they engage with industry leaders, entrepreneurs and community changemakers through curated company visits, dialogues and cultural immersion activities. Working in multidisciplinary teams alongside students from local universities, they also take part in hackathons to develop solutions to urban challenges using human-centred design and sustainability principles.
Through these experiences, students build regional awareness, leadership capabilities and cross-cultural confidence while gaining deeper insights into the opportunities shaping Southeast Asia.
Study–Observe–Adapt–Reflect (SOAR)
Study–Observe–Adapt–Reflect (SOAR) is a one-week overseas learning programme that brings classroom learning into real-world industry and community settings across Southeast Asia.
Integrated into students’ diploma learning, SOAR gives students first-hand exposure to how their diploma skills and knowledge are applied across different industries, communities and cultural environments in the region through industry visits, site observations and guided reflection activities.
The programme helps students develop regional awareness, cross-cultural adaptability and a broader understanding of how their discipline connects to the world beyond Singapore.
