NP Youth with a passion for the community

Diploma in Community Development students Claudia Ruth Selvakumar and Rishika D/O Selvan were interviewed by Tamil Murasu for their passion for the community and their love for volunteerism, as part of a larger story on youths’ interest and engagement in social and community work. Claudia and Rishika were interviewed as they were getting equipped in NP with the skills to be of service to the community. They shared their motivations, inspirations behind their interest in community development and how their diploma has helped them in gaining the skillsets needed to further themselves in this field. The article also touched on how Claudia was motivated by seeing her fellow peers financially in need or from broken families, and also weaved in Rishika’s passion for supporting climate action.
