Celebrating Our Students’ Diverse Talents
The Student Excellence Awards (SEA) is an annual celebration of Ngee Ann Polytechnic’s (NP) most outstanding students who have made remarkable achievements beyond the classroom. Launched in 2004, SEA awardees are applauded for their feats in over 10 categories in areas such as sports, community service, arts, entrepreneurship and sustainability.
This year, NP commemorates championing all-roundedness excellence with the theme “Pursuing Excellence, Realising Dreams”.

Awarded to students or teams selected/endorsed by national sports associations (NSA), Sport Singapore or its equivalent, or other national level organisations or federations of similar standing to represent Singapore at competitions. Also awarded to students or teams who have achieved 1st in Polytechnic-ITE (POLITE) Games, 1st or 2nd in Institute-Varsity-Polytechnic (IVP) Games or achieved 1st or 2nd in the national open competitions organised by NSAs or Sport Singapore or its equivalent, or national level organisations or federations of similar standing.

Half Colours
Awarded to students or teams who have achieved 2nd or 3rd place in Polytechnic-ITE (POLITE) Games or 3rd in Institute-Varsity-Polytechnic (IVP) Games, or achieved 1st in other competitions, including invitationals, organised by the polytechnics, universities or equivalent only.
