Tuition Fees
Tuition fees for full-time diploma programmes# at NP are highly subsidised by the Singapore Government for eligible students under the Tuition Grant (TG) Scheme. For AY2023, the polytechnics will continue to adopt a cohort-based fee structure, which means that fees will remain constant for the entire duration of the course.
The Government will continue to absorb the GST chargeable on tuition fees payable by Singapore Citizen and Permanent Resident Students who are under the TG Scheme.
The tuition fees for International Students are inclusive of GST, and subject to increase with effect from 1 January 2024, in view of the 1% increase in GST rate.
The table below shows the annual tuition fee payable by students enrolling in a full-time diploma course and who have opted for the TG Scheme.

The annual tuition fees for Singapore Citizens (SC), Singapore Permanent Residents (PR) and International Students (IS) admitted in AY2023 to full-time diploma courses can be found in Table 1 below.

The polytechnic adopts a cohort-based fee structure for full-time diploma courses, which means that a student’s fees will remain unchanged for the full duration of the course. Existing students will therefore pay the same tuition fees which they have paid in AY2022 for the remaining duration of their course.
Tuition fees are reviewed annually and adjusted where necessary to cover the cost of education and enable the polytechnic to invest in delivering high-quality education.
The Government continues to heavily subsidise the cost of a polytechnic education for Singaporeans. Additional financial support is available to SC students from low to middle-income families through various financial assistance schemes, so that no student will be denied the opportunity of a polytechnic education because of financial difficulties. The annual tuition fees for Singapore Citizens (SCs), Singapore Permanent Residents (PR) and International Students (IS) admitted in AY2022 to full-time diploma courses can be found in Table 1 below.

Annual fees for International Students (IS) admitted in AY2021 to full-time diploma courses will be increased by $200, to $11,000. INFORMATION SHEET FOR ACADEMIC YEAR 2020 (AY2020) TUITION FEES FOR NGEE ANN POLYTECHNIC
The annual tuition fees for Singapore Citizen (SC) students admitted in academic year (AY) 2019 for full-time diploma courses will be increased by $100 to $2,900. Annual fees for Singapore Permanent Residents (PR) and International Students (IS) admitted
in AY2019 to full-time diploma courses will be increased by $200 and $400 to $5,800 and $10,400 respectively. The polytechnics will continue to receive a substantial subsidy from the Government to cover the bulk of the costs.
The polytechnics
will continue to adopt a cohort-based fee structure, which means that a student’s fees will remain constant for the entire duration of their course. This applies to all full-time diploma courses at Ngee Ann Polytechnic. This fee structure will
provide greater certainty regarding tuition fees and help students to better plan the financing of their studies. Students enrolling into Ngee Ann Polytechnic in AY2019 will be informed of the annual tuition fees for their respective courses prior
to enrolment. Existing students will continue to pay the tuition fees that they have paid in AY2018 for the remaining duration of their course.
Tuition fees are reviewed annually and adjusted where necessary to defray the increased cost
of quality education and allow polytechnics to continue to invest in capability-building initiatives to deliver a high-quality education to Singaporeans. Similar to past years, the Government will continue to absorb the GST chargeable on tuition fees
payable by SC and PR students. Tuition fees for IS will be subject to GST.

Tuition Grant Scheme
The Singapore Government provides tuition grants to subsidise your education at the polytechnic.
Permanent residents and foreigners who accept the tuition grant must sign a bond to work in Singapore for 3 years upon graduation. To find out

Fees Payment Schedule
Fees are payable two times in an academic year:

Students will be notified via their Ngee Ann Polytechnic email accounts when details of fees payable are available in NPAL. There are two ways to check on outstanding fees:

- Download 'NPal2 mStudent' from the App Store or Play Store
- Log in using your NPal2 User ID and Password
- Go to the page using 'Outstanding Fee' icon and click on it
- View the outstanding fees payable under 'Financial Summary'
Payment
For Newly-enrolled Students who have no access to NPAL student portal:
- Log in to your preferred iBanking app
- Enter NP's UEN "T08GB0039AFEE"
- Enter your student ID in the reference field, e.g. 1020XXXXA (remember to indicate your Student ID)
- Follow the instructions in the app and proceed with payment
Cash
- Deposit the cash at any OCBC bank branch, into Ngee Ann Polytechnic’s OCBC account 518-715297-001
- Indicate your student ID for reference on the deposit slip, and retain the deposit slip as proof of payment
Cheque
- Make cheque payable to "Ngee Ann Polytechnic"
- Indicate NP’s OCBC bank account number 518-715297-001, your student ID, and contact number on the back of the cheque
- Drop the cheque into OCBC quick cheque deposit box.
IMPORTANT: If you are making payment after enrolment, or missed the due date stated on the fee voucher, please pay via PayNow UEN, Cash or Cheque.
- Go to eEnrol Portal
- Click ‘My Enrolment’ and log in with your User ID and Password
- Follow on-screen instructions and take note of the payment reference as proof of payment
- An e-Receipt will be sent to your personal email address
For Existing Students:

Giro Application (Direct Debit Authorisation)
Direct Debit Authorisation (DDA) is an arrangement where you authorise your bank to deduct money from the account indicated in your DDA form to pay Ngee Ann Polytechnic.
Once you have set up the DDA, fees will be deducted from
the account that you indicated in your DDA form. You must ensure you have sufficient funds in the bank account at the time of deduction.

Change in Citizenship
Students with a change in citizenship must officially inform NP of their new citizenship via the following steps:
- Complete the “Change of Personal Particulars” form available under Admin Forms here, and
- bring the following documents to the SSVC@Blk 1, The Atrium during operating hours*
- The duly completed “Change of Personal Particulars” form
- Original and photocopy of proof of new citizenship. #
Officers at SSVC will sight your original document and endorse the photocopy as “certified true copy”. Please note that submission of the completed form without endorsement of the true copy will not be accepted.
*Operating hours of SSVC: Mon-Thu: 8:30am – 6:00 pm, Fri: 8:30am – 5pm, closed on public holidays.
# Only original NRIC or Passport is accepted as proof of citizenship. The NRIC collection slip is NOT accepted.
Students who officially inform NP of the change in their citizenship BEFORE the commencement of each semester will have their fees adjusted and refunded for that semester.
Students who officially inform NP of the change in their citizenship AFTER the commencement of the semester will have their fees adjusted with effect from the NEXT/FOLLOWING semester. No refund will be made for the difference in fees already paid in the current semester.

Students who wish to withdraw from their course must complete a prescribed withdrawal form and submit it to their respective Academic Schools/Divisions.
