A highlight of my time at Ngee Ann Poly was my six-month internship at Grab Indonesia, where I travelled across cities and learned more about business operations, management and analytics. The knowledge and exposure I gained as a student here have fuelled my passion for business.

My internship at J&J gave the chance to design my own learning. Based on the business objectives, my team developed marketing strategies and learnt the necessary tools and skills to execute them. It was a refreshing experience that allowed me to hone skills that will help me in my future career.

Joash is the Founder and CEO of Sedifly, an EdTech startup aiming to democratise access to education, and a General Partner at Iron Key Capital, a $10M Web3/AI fund. Before that, he founded products that now generate over $10M ARR for an EdTech firm. He currently studies at Columbia University, writes for Forbes as a member of the Business Council, and speaks about sustainability to media such as The Economist and Financial Times. As an advocate for sustainability, he is also pioneering research on peace credits.

Joash Lee is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Financial Economics at Columbia University, USA.

At BA, I built the business and finance skills that now support my daily work in tax and private wealth law. Studying BS grew my curiosity in how law and business intersects, governance intersect, which inspired me to pursue law. Looking back, the path that I’ve taken broadened my perspectives and has equipped me to be a more well-rounded lawyer.

Recent BS graduate Keene Chong took on Adecco’s one-year JobReady Programme, where he helped the HR team create an automated contract agreement and onboarding process. This innovation simplified repetitive tasks and improved efficiency, allowing the team to focus on enhancing employee experiences. The extended stint enabled him to identify operational challenges and implement practical solutions.

Business Studies student Jaymie Seah (left) started a sustainability project called XTRA Vintage, which encourages the reuse of clothing through the sale of pre-loved donated clothes. As a participant of the Youth for Environmental Sustainability Leaders Programme by the National Environment Agency, Jaymie will receive funding support of up to $5,000 to implement her project.
