The customised SkillSprint programme is a cutting-edge, job-focused AI training programme that empowers employees with practical AI skills. Taking a project-based approach and using agile learning sprints, participants can expect to apply skills in their job roles immediately. Through this learning model, companies in Singapore can look forward to equipping their teams with the AI skills needed to drive productivity and innovation.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is revolutionising the way businesses operate, and organisations everywhere are eager to tap its potential for productivity and growth. In the face of limited time and resources for training, companies – especially SMEs – may find it challenging to stay ahead of this technological curve. This is where we can step in to help.
In a strategic collaboration with multinational technology services firm NCS Group, NP is pioneering an AI training programme tailored to companies seeking practical, hands-on AI solutions for their teams. The SkillsPrint programme is designed to provide an agile, job-focused learning framework that directly addresses workplace challenges.
The SkillSprint Programme utilises iterative two-week sprints, allowing participants to work on real-world AI problems. They experiment with various platforms like AWS, Azure, and Databricks, and specialised tools such as Neo4j, Streamlit, Roboflow, and YOLO models. Each sprint is designed to ensure that learners can immediately apply AI techniques to solve issues they encounter in their day-to-day work. This approach not only makes the learning process more engaging, but also results in direct improvements to business operations.
Understanding the constraints that busy employees face, the programme seamlessly integrates into their work life by allowing them to tackle real-life challenges at their workplace. This means employees emerge with actionable AI skills that can be used the moment they return to their roles, increasing both productivity and effectiveness.
The first cohort of engineers from NCS’s Cloud Infrastructure team kicked off the programme in April 2025. After completing five sprints and two consulting sessions over three months, the participants showcased innovative AI solutions across a wide range of applications, including parking permit detection, sentiment analysis tools, and traffic violation detectors in a Final Project Showcase. The success of this inaugural cohort has inspired plans to reskill up to 900 employees across the NCS Group, empowering them with AI and machine learning expertise.
Dr. Divyan Konidala, Assistant Director for Partnerships at NP’s CET Academy and Programme Lead for SkillSprint, shared, “NP is honoured to partner with NCS Group for the SkillSprint programme. Through this close collaboration, we’ve seen firsthand how AI training enhances decision-making through data analysis, boosts productivity, and prepares teams for business transformation. We are eager to bring these benefits to more industry partners, especially SMEs looking to harness AI for growth.
