Ngee Ann Polytechnic SMExchange hosted a half-day talk in October 2019 on the topic of "Digital Transformation in Business". This is a complimentary informative sharing session to help SMEs understand how to harness the power of RPA, data science and machine learning to transform their business digitally. Ngee Ann Polytechnic SMExchange, The Bosses Network and SkillsFuture hosted a half-day seminar in May 2019 on the topic of " Future-Ready SMEs begin with lifelong-learning ". This Chinese conference explored how future-ready business can harness the power of digital marketing to grow and expand their business and use artificial intelligence in managing operations and talents. The conference also highlighted the importance of lifelong learning to bridge the digital skills gap for a more employable and skilled workforce. We would like to thank Ms Sim Ann, Senior Minister of State, Mr Hoon Thing Leong, Founder of Bosses Network and Kim San Leng group of coffeeshops, Mr Vincent Tan, CEO of Select Group and all the participants who made this event a success!

Ngee Ann Polytechnic (NP) SMExchange hosted a half-day talk in March 2019 on the topic of "Family Business". The event helped SMEs understand how family business is riding the waves of disruptions, spinning off a new brand and sustaining the heritage of a traditional business. Ngee Ann Polytechnic (NP) SMExchange hosted a half-day talk in October 2018 on the topic of "Digital Marketing". The event helped SMEs understand the hows and whys of Digital Marketing and how it can transform a business from an SME perspective. We also shared the Polytechnic graduates’ perceptions of SMEs’ survey results which provided a fresh perspective to SME hiring practices. The event had very positive feedback and we would like to thank our speakers, Adrian Chye, General Manager of Mediafreaks Group, Joewin Tan, CEO of HUONE Singapore and all the participants who made this event a great success!

Ngee Ann Polytechnic (NP) SMEXchange hosted a half-day talk in June 2018 on "HR Analytics". It was a free informative sharing session to help SMEs understand the future of HR where artificial intelligence system for people management uses data analytics, machine learning and proprietary algorithms to produce valuable predictions for business leaders, managers and employees.

The event was also part of NP SMEXchange effort to create a platform for content sharing among leaders of SMEs and the polytechnic. The event had very positive feedback. Ngee Ann Poly, in collaboration with Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry, hosted a talk on "Bitcoin, Blockchain and what it means for your Business".

SME corporate members attended the talk to learn how businesses can benefit from the technology. The event was part of NP SMEXchange’s effort to create a platform for content sharing among leaders.
