Through-train programme in SST opens doors for students to pursue STEM-related diplomas in NP

Synopsis: This article is about the Integrated Diploma Programme offered by the School of Science & Technology (SST) and NP. The through-train programme, allows students with an interest in science-related areas, to secure a place in NP without taking the O Levels. Selected students can choose from 21 diplomas offered by the School of Engineering, Design & Environment, InfoComm Technology and Life Sciences & Chemical Technology. To help them make an informed decision on the course that best fits their interests, SST students will join NP’s RED Camp (aka “Roadmap to Explore and Discover” Camp) held annually in November of their Secondary 3 year to find out more about NP’s courses and campus life. There will also be opportunities for SST students to have early exposure to polytechnic education through taking part in curated learning activities and events.
