Normisah Mohd Sah, 45, shared about her personal life journey – she started working at the age of 16 as her father, who was the sole breadwinner of the family did not hold a permanent job. Three years later, she returned to studying at ITE, but had difficulty securing a job after she graduated. She then returned to work at 7-11. In 1995, she had the opportunity to work as an administrative assistant in the healthcare sector. Although she’s now a single mother with four children, she wanted to prove to the children that success can be achieved as long as she does not give up. Hence she took up part-time studies at NP’s CET Academy, attending lessons thrice a week. She graduated with a GPA of 3.9, and also received a promotion at work after obtaining her diploma. She is determined to further her studies and currently pursuing a degree in business studies with Psychology. Berita Harian © Singapore Press Holdings Limited. Reproduced with permission.
