NP Open House features sensory device that can alert cyclists of surrounding dangers

The article covers NP’s open house and graduate projects from the School of Engineering. One is a sensory device that uses artificial intelligence to detect obstacles and alert cyclists of surrounding dangers. AMS student Chen Jiankang, who developed the device, shared that he is grateful for the school’s support and opportunities to collaborate with students from other courses. Another featured project is a compact rat poison dispenser, which uses temperature sensors to detect movement in sewers.
