A very warm welcome to the School of Engineering (SoE)!
2024 will undoubtedly be a new and exciting phase of your life, and the SoE community is delighted to embark on this journey with you. To enable you to achieve greater success in your engineering studies, we are pleased to organise a two-part SoE Freshmen Orientation Programmes (FOP). The FOP will begin with a Bonding Programme (FOP-BP) on 8 & 9 April 2024 and end with the compulsory Induction Programme (FOP-IP) on 12 April 2024.
For students enrolled in CEP (Common Engineering Programme)

SOE Freshmen Orientation - Induction Programme 12 April 2024 (COMPULSORY)
The Induction Programme (FOP-IP) orientates you to the new learning environment on campus together with your fellow freshmen and staff advisors, outlines key academic matters and provides you the opportunity to meet your new classmates. As essential information will be conveyed during the Induction Programme, it is compulsory for all freshmen to attend.

SOE Freshmen Orientation - Bonding Programme 8 & 9 April 2024
Although attendance at the FOP-BP is not compulsory, we encourage your active participation. The programme is filled with thrilling activities and interesting games which will provide you with excellent opportunities to get to know more classmates and fellow freshmen beyond your course of study. It is free and there is no requirement for an overnight stay. This bonding programme is organised for the first 300 students who sign up via the link, https://for.edu.sg/2024soefoc.

What to Wear/Bring
- Comfortable wear for indoor and outdoor activities (sports/covered shoes; jeans/pants/shorts)
- Water bottle
- Notepad and pen
