Welcome to your XTRAordinary Journey. In a world challenged by a stubborn pandemics, your future selves will help make the world a safer place as you grow into the protector of our notion's health and the guardians of our sight. But all great things starts
small. First, you need to be trained. That is why you are here at the School of Health Sciences (HS) at the Ngee Ann Polytechnic (NP).
We are very privileged to be able to guide you as you grow into healthcare professionals that
our world cannot do without. Transitions are never easy. It was so from primary school to secondary, it will be so as you moved from your previous school to HS. To smooth the transition for you and to make you help you make friends, we have put together
an orientation programme to get you started.

Introduction
The objective of the programme is to orientate you to HS and the NP campus. The polytechnic education involves not just theoretical excellence but also training you to work within teams. Within this context. it is highly important that you form friendships and a new social support network before school starts. We will also brief you on academic matters to give you an idea of what this leg of your education journey will look like. In this orientation events, you will participate in bonding games, and go on a get-to-know NP campus tour!
What to Wear/Bring
- Comfortable wear for indoor and outdoor activities (sports/covered shoes; jeans/pants/shorts)
- Water bottle
- Money for lunch and snacks
