Overseas Innovation Challenge 2016 (OIC)
The search for good ideas begins in Hong Kong. Don't watch from the sidelines - come give OIC a shot!
Do you have the right mindset for innovation & entrepreneurship?
We are searching for the 25 most deserving students to journey with us to OIC Hong Kong!
WHAT IS OIC?
OIC is a two-week long programme (
13 to 26 June 2016
) which challenges you to apply your creativity to ideate and propose possible solutions to actual problems posed by local partner companies. The programme includes a 7-day trip to Hong Kong to see how overseas companies deal with their daily operations. The trip will be rounded off with a 2-day R&R to interesting places in Hong Kong. When we return to Singapore, you will share your solutions with the local partner company for them to adopt.
The OIC trip will be regarded as an IS module taken in April semester. If you have completed your IS elective, this will be considered as an enrichment programme instead.
HOW MUCH WILL IT COST?
NP has subsidized the cost of the trip for students. IT WILL BE AT NO COST TO YOU!!

Please attach any proof of your innovation & entrepreneurship work and/or participation together with the Application Form. To ensure that the OIC will not affect your studies, your academic achievement should be at a minimum cumulative GPA of 1.5 points (and no repeat modules in the current semester).
Short-listed candidates will need to attend an interview between 28 January - 4 February. If you are short-listed, an email will be sent to your NP email address with details for the interview.
