Welcome to Ngee Ann Polytechnic's Polytechnic Foundation Programme (PFP)!

We are excited to have you join our PFP family! During this period, we have prepared an Online Curriculum Briefing and On-Campus Orientation Programme to get you started on your XTRAORDINARY journey at Ngee Ann Polytechnic (NP)​.

**Please note that there will be no overnight stay during the orientation.**

5 and 6 April 2022 (Tues and ​Wed)9am – 1pm

(F2F bonding activities)
PFP Orientation Programme ​
(Team A will have online games on 5th and F2F on 6th​; Team B will be having F2F on 5th​ and online games on 6th​)

“What will my learning be like during this period of blended learning? How are my classes organized? What do I do at the start of the semester?”

It is compulsory for you to attend the online Curriculum Briefing on 4 April 2022. It will help you to understand the PFP curriculum, teaching and learning methodologies, and know more about the PFP course expectations and its learning environment. Our default teaching and learning mode for April Semester 2022 is face-to-face on campus with several e-learning lessons.​

“Is the Freshmen Orientation Programme compulsory?”

The online Curriculum Briefing on 4 April is compulsory while the orientation programme on 5 – 6 April 2022 is optional. It is filled with online and physical games and activities to help you know your fellow freshmen better. It is free of charge and does not require any overnight stay.​

“What is the Covid vaccination policy of the Freshmen Orientation Programme?”

You are eligible to join our Freshmen Orientation Programme if you are fully vaccinated. You will be required to show your vaccination status with your TraceTogether app when you enter the campus. ​

What to wear/bring:

  • Comfortable wear for indoor and outdoor activities (sports/covered shoes; jeans/pants/shorts)
  • Water bottle
  • Sufficient money for lunch, snacks and drinks
  • Spare disposable masks

Getting into campus for the first time:

  • Proceed to the Student Plaza
  • ​Use TraceTogether App to show your vaccination status and scan SafeEntry to enter the campus.​
