Through a journey of discovery and exploration with your fellow freshmen and friendly staff advisors, you will be introduced to the world of engineering. The one-week induction programme builds a sense of engineering identity within you and aims to develop the confidence to help you do well in your course thus providing you a head start to your education and career roadmap in engineering. The programme will also enable you to understand the course curriculum, teaching and learning methodologies, and know more about the course expectations and learning environment. Please refer to the Appendix A for the reporting time and venue for your diploma course. Do bring along the completed the
consent form on Day 1 (15 Apr 2019) of IP.

This optional Freshmen Bonding Camp to be filled with thrilling activities and interesting games will provide you with another excellent opportunity to get to know your classmates and other fellow freshmen who are in the same course and school as you. This bonding camp is organised for the first 500 students who sign up at

To enable you to achieve greater success in your engineering studies, we have prepared for you a purpose-built, well-integrated Induction Programme (IP) in week one of each academic year. Whilst the Year 1 IP will give you a head start in engineering studies, the Year 2 IP will enable you to appreciate the usefulness of engineering to society through service learning and the Year 3 IP will prepare you well for various career possibilities and progress pathways upon graduation.
