Care Culture

Care Culture

Everyone’s mental health journey looks different. Whether you’re feeling stressed, overwhelmed, or worried about a friend, support is available — and you don’t have to figure things out on your own.

At NP, we work closely with mindline.sg, Singapore’s national digital first stop for mental health, to help you find the right support at the right time. mindline offers free self‑care tools, confidential guidance, and clear pathways to professional help.

  • Explore guided self‑care exercises at your own pace
  • Find suitable support services based on your needs and comfort level
  • Get advice anonymously, without judgement
  • Participate anonymously in forums to discuss issues or share your concerns with like minded youths

Be Part of Our Mission

Peer Helpers Club

Interested in knowing how you can go beyond and play a part in supporting your friends? Be a part of our care movement by joining the Peer Helpers Club.

Peer Helpers lend a listening ear and serve as an additional layer of care for students encountering difficulties in their lives. The Peer Helpers Club recruits and trains students through workshops, camps and collaboration with other mental health agencies. If you have a good listening ear, come join us and make a difference.

Peer Helping Training

After completing the compulsory Health and Wellness module during your first year of study, all students will participate in the Peer Helping Level 1 training. Thereafter, you may be deployed as a Peer Helper in your academic school to befriend and help a peer in need.

If you feel called upon to develop this skill further, you can embark on the Peer Helping Level 2 training. Upon completion of the Level 2 training, and with at least one contribution in organising a Peer Helper event, you will be appointed as a Peer Helper Leader. Examples of Peer Helping Level 2 Modules you can sign up for:

  • Managing anxiety
  • Fostering Psychological Safety
  • Navigating transitions
  • Helping peers build resilience
