Year 01

Learn the fundamentals of mechanical engineering with a focus on materials and design skills. You will take modules such as Thermofluids, Materials & Manufacturing Technology and Mechanical Engineering Fundamentals.

Get an introduction to core mechanical engineering modules such as Applied Mechanics and Strength of Materials.

Year 03

Round off your learning journey with a local or overseas internship with established organisations such as ST Kinetics and A*STAR. Or take up one of four specialisation option offers, and work on a final-year project that involves the design and development of a new product prototype with real-world application. ​

Entry Requirements


To be eligible for consideration, candidates must have the following GCE O-Level examination (or equivalent) results.

  • SubjectO-LEVEL GRADE
  • English Language*1 - 7
  • Mathematics (Elementary/Additional)1 - 6
  • Science (with Physics, Chemistry or Biology component)
    or Biotechnology
    or Computing/Computer Studies
    or Design & Technology
    or Electronics/​Fundamentals of Electronics
    1 - 6​

You must also fulfil the aggregate computation requirements.

* Candidates with English as a second language must have attained a minimum grade of 6.

Candidates with hearing deficiency or severe vision deficiency should not apply for the course.​
