Why just stop at seeing the world when you can serve it?

How amazing would it be to travel the world and at the same time make a positive impact on a community in need?

  • Serve a rural community as part of a meaningful project that greatly benefits the locals.
  • Engage with NGOs and social enterprises to understand their role in promoting a sustainable livelihood.
  • Explore the off-the-beaten tracks of Mekong and experience its vibrant sights and sounds.

Why Mekong Delta, South Vietnam?

Ngee Ann Polytechnic’s (NP) students and staff have been supporting the impoverished Phong Thanh commune in multiple meaningful community projects since 2017. Some of these projects include building houses and toilets for the locals.

It takes a village to rebuild a community and sustain its people. So for the first time, NP is extending the invitation to anyone with the desire to be part of this challenging but rewarding experience in one of ASEAN’s most lively and charming cultures.

Plus, explore the countryside to get a peak into the life of the locals, the ancient temples and pagodas, and meet the farmers working on their orchards and rice fields in a region where agriculture remains the main source of income and employment.
