Title: Poly student aspires to develop robotics to help those in need, after witnessing challenges faced by his mobility-challenged grandma
Synppsis: Aaron Sng’s interest in robotics started when he used a computer for the first time at the age of 7. He went on to teach himself coding, using books he had borrowed from the library. Since then, Aaron has come a long way. He has participated in many robotics competitions and has won over 13 awards for his works.
The Engineering Science graduate is a recipient of the Ngee Ann Polytechnic Outstanding Achievement Award and the Lee Kuan Yew Award. Armed with the NTU Renaissance Engineering Scholarship, Aaron will further his studies at NTU after his national service.
Aaron hopes to pursue a career in scientific research and improve people’s lives through the development of smart robotics.
