This certificate introduces students to core financial services, banking and new FinTech business models. They will learn and compare the current financial processes to new FinTech business models and evaluate their strategic, operational and regulatory requirements based on Singapore’s regulatory policies, it also enables them to develop a financial analytics project using business intelligence techniques and tools.
This certificate introduces students to the Object Oriented concepts before moving on the skills required to develop a web application using web application programming interfaces (APIs). Students will be introduced to an integrated development environment that will enable them to design and develop web applications and web API over the Internet and learn how to make use of web development technologies such as ASP.NET framework, jQuery for rich internet applications, data interchange formats such as JSON. It also Introduces students to block chain concepts and how these are being applied using industry use cases. Students will also have hands on experience to create transactions on a block chain to better understand the underlying concepts. Students will get a chance to develop their own block chain prototype which includes defining the assets, transactions and participants. They will have the opportunity to build their own Smart Contracts to be executed on this block chain.

A local Polytechnic Diploma (or equivalent) in a technology or IT related course.
Holders of other equivalent academic qualification from foreign institutions will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
