This course provides students with a comprehensive understanding of marketing principles and communication theories on social media platforms. It also provides an in-depth examination of the factors affecting why and how business organisations adopt or fail to use new media technologies and services to promote their social media presence. Emerging marketing trends and business communication issues in the industry and their implications will be discussed.
This course forms a “stackable” module under the Part-time Diploma in Business Practice (Administration & Management).

Applicants with any of the following qualification are invited to apply for the course:
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
Applicants who do not meet the entry requirements may be considered for admission to the course based on evidence of at least 5 years of relevant working experience or supporting evidence of competency readiness. Suitable applicants who are shortlisted may have to go through an interview and/or entrance test. The Polytechnic reserves the right to shortlist and admit applicants.
