This course aims to equip students with insightful and practical skills for working on social media platforms. It also introduces theoretical issues raised by digital media technologies, technological culture and the social media revolution.

This course forms a “stackable” module under the Diploma (Conversion) in Digital Media Design.

Entry Requirements

Applicants with any of the following qualification are invited to apply for the course:

  • A Diploma or Degree in any media disciplines
  • A Diploma or Degree in a non-media discipline


Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

Applicants who do not meet the entry requirements may be considered for admission to the course based on evidence of at least 5 years of relevant working experience or supporting evidence of competency readiness. Suitable applicants who are shortlisted may have to go through an interview and/or entrance test. The Polytechnic reserves the right to shortlist and admit applicants.
