What You Will Learn
You are required to complete 2 post-diploma certificates within a two-year validity period to be awarded the Specialist Diploma qualification.
Facilities Management

Learn management and maintenance of properties with emphasis on environmental sustainability and optimizing cost-effectiveness including management of fire safety and evacuation procedures.

Built Environment Management

Get equipped with the knowledge in green building features and design strategies, manage the design and development of buildings and focus on workplace safety, hazards and risk management.

Entry Requirements

Applicants with the following qualifications are invited to apply for the course:

  • A Diploma/Degree related to the following areas:
  • Hotel, Leisure & Integrated Facilities Management, Real Estate Business
  • Green Building Management, Clean Energy Management, Water & Environment Management
  • Recognized Engineering-related field (such as Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering)


Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

Applicants who do not meet the entry requirements may be considered for admission to the course based on evidence of at least 5 years of relevant working experience or supporting evidence of competency readiness. Suitable applicants who are shortlisted may have to go through an interview and/or entrance test. The Polytechnic reserves the right to shortlist and admit applicants.
