This certification is to provide students with specialised knowledge and skills in the area of end-user and self-service analytics, including analytics in web and social media.
This module equips students with consumer analytics concepts to develop efficient analysis and reporting solutions. You will explore the use of both business and technical tools to analyse key consumer data for business strategic decision-making. You will also learn how to organize data, develop spreadsheet models, design user-friendly reports and automate repetitive tasks.
This course examines the various business-related activities and transactions taking place in the social media space, including digital sales and marketing, consumer support, business communication and interaction, human capital management etc. Distinctive features of digital marketing such as page tagging will be explored as part of web analytics techniques. A gamut of questions ranging strategic to operational matters relating to a firm’s social media initiatives, key digital marketing metrics to capture relevant outcomes, and to link social media chatter to marketing campaigns will be explored.

Applicants with any of the following qualification are invited to apply for the course:
A Diploma/ Degree in any Business/Engineering/Technology discipline and;
One year of working experience and;
Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office e.g. Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)Applicants who do not meet the entry requirements may be considered for admission to the course based on evidence of at least 5 years of relevant working experience or supporting evidence of competency readiness. Suitable applicants who are shortlisted may have to go through an interview and/or entrance test.
