What You Will Learn

This certification is all about comprehending technical and aesthetic aspects of common tools in the digital media and obtain insightful and practical skills for working on digital media platforms. There are 3 modules that participants will complete in order to receive the certificate.


Digital Media Principles and Practices

Provides foundation in theoretical and practical skills in digital media and its impact on business and communications. The focus of this module is User Centred Design.

Digital Publishing

Investigates the design communication for mobile and e-publications, with an emphasis on developing creative modern concepts for mobile devices.

Social Media Marketing

Equips participants with insightful and practical skills for conceptualizing andimplementing a winning social media campaign.

Entry Requirements

Applicants with any of the following qualification are invited to apply for the course:

  • A Diploma or Degree in any media disciplines
  • A Diploma or Degree in a non-media discipline

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

Applicants who do not meet the entry requirements may be considered for admission to the course based on evidence of at least 5 years of relevant working experience or supporting evidence of competency readiness. Suitable applicants who are shortlisted may have to go through an interview and/or entrance test. The Polytechnic reserves the right to shortlist and admit applicants.
