Formal Course/ 4 months
This module introduces the system architecture of unmanned systems. Participants will gain practical insight on both the hardware and software aspects in developing, integrating and operating unmanned systems. Topics on hardware components such as battery systems, navigation sensors, detection systems will be covered. Participants will also review case studies of unmanned systems operating across land, sea and sky environments.
This course forms a “stackable” module under theDiploma in Engineering (Mechatronics).

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
Applicants who do not meet the entry requirements may be considered for admission to the course based on evidence of at least 5 years of relevant working experience or supporting evidence of competency readiness. Suitable applicants who are shortlisted may have to go through an interview and/or entrance test. The Polytechnic reserves the right to shortlist and admit applicants.
