  • To perform basic physical examination on their cat in order to identify abnormalities in various body systems
  • To perform basic ear cleaning and nail trimming procedures on their cat
  • To perform a body condition score on their cat
  • On the nutritional needs at different stages of the cat’s lifespan
  • To identify the food types which are toxic to cats
  • To create a secure environment for an indoor cat in a high-rise building
  • To provide a mentally enriching and stimulating environment for their cat
  • To work with the layout of their house so that it is suitable for a single- or multi-cat household.
  • On the importance and advantages of various types of preventive medication and vaccinations, and on the common zoonotic diseases carried by their cats. 
  • To minimize the chances of contracting any zoonotic diseases from their cat
  • On feline vaccination protocols, internal and external parasite control
  • On how to administer pills and liquid medication to their cat
  • On the pros and cons of sterilizing their cat
  • On how to interpret the body language of a cat
  • On the rules and regulations of keeping a cat in Singapore.

This is a course with NO assessments

Certification of Participation will be awarded to participants who achieve at least 75% attendance.
Course Fees









Singaporeans aged 50 yrs & above: $142.50

Full course fee: $267.50

Singaporeans aged 50 years and above who wish to apply for the course at the special course fee will need to email a copy of their NRIC during the course fee payment before the course commencement.
