This course examines the various business-related activities and transactions taking place in the social media space, including digital sales and marketing, consumer support, business communication and interaction, human capital management etc. Distinctive features of digital marketing such as page tagging will be explored as part of web analytics techniques. A gamut of questions ranging strategic to operational matters relating to a firm’s social media initiatives, key digital marketing metrics to capture relevant outcomes, and to link social media chatter to marketing campaigns will be explored.
This course forms a “stackable” module under the following diplomas:
• Specialist Diploma in Consumer and Performance Analytics
• Advanced Diploma in Enterprise Business Analytics

Applicants with the following qualifications are invited to apply for the course:
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
Applicants who do not meet the entry requirements may be considered for admission to the course based on evidence of at least 5 years of relevant working experience or supporting evidence of competency readiness. Suitable applicants who are shortlisted may have to go through an interview and/or entrance test. The Polytechnic reserves the right to shortlist and admit applicants.
