Trainer's Profile

Tan Hock Guan is a senior lecturer in Cybersecurity. Currently, he teaches Vulnerabilities and Attacks, Networks and Systems Penetration Testing, Web Applications Penetration Testing, Cloud Architecture and Management, and other IT related courses. He joined Ngee Ann Polytechnic in 1985 and has vast teaching experience. He has received three teaching awards, authored several books and conference papers and provides consultancy. He has also completed several software system and courseware development projects. Tan Hock Guan has a degree with honors in Aeronautical Engineering, a MSc degree in Information Technology Systems, and a MSc degree in Communication Software Management.

Certificate of Performance will be awarded to participants who have achieved at least 75% in attendance and passed all required assessment(s).

Course Fees

Full course fee: $214.00

Course fee is payable upon acceptance. It is inclusive of 7% GST and subject to review.

Entry Requirements
  • Applicants should have undertaken GCE ‘O’ Levels course of study or equivalent.
  • Applicants must possess a Windows based laptop. (Not suitable for MAC users.)
