This module introduces participants to the theories, concepts, insights and best practices towards the development of a strong foundation in social media marketing. Participants will gain an appreciation of key social media platforms and be equipped with the strategic frameworks and practical know-how to be able to manage campaigns and brand reputation on social media.
This module comprises the following topics: social media marketing concepts and theories, key social media platforms and their various applications, social media audit and planning, understanding audiences, content strategy, content development, influencer marketing, and traffic driving and acquisition strategies – with a larger focus on Facebook and Instagram marketing.

In-class assessments.Certification of Performance will be awarded to participantswho achieve at least 75% attendance and pass assessments.
