This certificate comprises of two courses and provide learners with specialised knowledge and skills on the area of corporate analytics focusing on the area of business performance management and improvement.
This module exposes students to the fundamental concepts of enterprise performance management. It explores the use of scorecards, dashboards and data visualization tools to aggregate, consolidate and present business data for critical analysis and decision-making on the performance of the business. Students will learn to interpret and use relevant key performance indicators and business metrics to address areas of weakness and capitalize on areas of strength through the implementation of competitive strategies and programmes to differentiate the business.
This course aims to develop a strong understanding of how data can be represented through pictorial and graphical formats for easier but rich analysis and presentation. It enables decision makers to grasp key information pertinent to their businesses as well as to drill through the graphical data to reveal detailed information. Key design principles in data visualisation will be explored to allow learners to begin analysing, designing and presenting data in a holistic manner that will help to reveal multiple dimensions of a business’ operations and activities.

Advanced Diploma in Enterprise Business Analytics
Applicants with any of the following qualification are invited to apply for the course:
A Diploma/ Degree in any Business/Engineering/Technology discipline and;
One year of working experience and;
Must have workingknowledge of Microsoft Office e.g. Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
A polytechnic Diploma or a Degree in any Discipline and;
At least One year of working experience
Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office e.g. Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
Applicants who do not meet the entry requirements may be considered for admission to the course based on evidence of at least 5 years of relevant working experience or supporting evidence of competency readiness. Suitable applicants who are shortlisted may have to go through an interview and/or entrance test. The Polytechnic reserves the right to shortlist and admit applicants.
