What You Will Learn

At the end of the course, learners will be able to: 

  • Create challenging and developmentally appropriate environments to support the development of students and youths aged 7 – 14 years
  • Support the physical development of students and youths aged 7 - 14 years
  • Support the social and emotional development of students and youths aged 7 - 14 years 
  • Support the language development of students and youths aged 7 - 14 years 
  • Support the creative development of students and youths aged 7 - 14 years 
  • Support the cognitive development of students and youths aged 7 - 14 years
  • Identify responsibilities under Workplace Safety and Health Act (ESS Workplace Skills Series: Workplace Safety and Health, Element 8.1.1) 
  • Assist with infection control and infection prevention 
  • Respond to signs of illness and accidents 
  • Respond to incidents and emergencies and crisis

Students who attained at least 75% attendance and successfully completed the required assessments will be awarded two (2) Statements of Attainment from SSG.
Course Fees



































Full course fee: $888.10
Singaporeans and Permanent Residents: $224.10
Singaporeans qualified for SkillsFuture Mid-Career Enhanced Subsidy/SME-sponsored*: $141.10

Course fee is payable upon acceptance. It is inclusive of 7% GST and subject to review.

Admitted self-sponsored students may use PSEA and/or SkillsFuture Credit to pay their course fee 

NOTE: 
a.* - SME-sponsored Employees who are Singaporeans and Singapore Permanent Residents 
b.Terms & Conditions for nett fee: 
1. Students must achieve at least 75% attendance and 
2. Pass all required assessments for the course 

Students who fail to meet the above terms & conditions will be required to pay full course fee (i.e. refund the course fee grant received) 

Companies that sponsor their staff for training must submit the required Training Grant Application within 30 days of course start to ensure that Ngee Ann Polytechnic will receive the course fee grant. Companies that fail to do so will be required to pay the full course fee. 

Info on fees for repeated students**
1. CU 1: Emergency Response and Crisis Management
(SSC-ICM-2023-1.1) - 3 Class sessions: $266.43
2. CU 2: Support Service to Children and Youths
(SSC-CAR-2005-1.1) - 7  Class sessions: $621.67

**Please note that students are not eligible for any course fee subsidy.
