(1) Marine business environment;
(2) Common types of ships;
(3) Terms used for common ship structural parts;
(4) Some basics processes and application of principles in the production of ships and offshore structures;
(5) Materials used for ship hull and offshore structures;
(6) Application of paint for hull and offshore structures;
(7) Drilling and production of oil & gas; and 
(8) Offshore liquified natural gas.  

This enable them to communicate with the domain experts in the marine industry.

Assessment/ Award

In-class assessments.
A Certificate of Performance will be awarded to participants who achieve at least 75% attendance and pass all required assessment(s).

A Certificate of Participation will be awarded to participants who meet the 75% attendance requirement but did not pass all required assessment(s).
Course Fees

Full course fee: $481.50

Singaporeans and Permanent Residents: $144.45
