Fishkeeping is a very popular pastime activity. Singapore is one of the top exporters of ornamental fish. The a (1989 – 2015) International Exhibition for Aquarium Suppliers & Ornamental Fish had attracted thousands of visitors each year during their exhibition in Singapore. With new technologies and proper know-how, many hobbyists are now able to keep simple and stable aquarium systems to rear many types of aquatic animals.

In this 1-day workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Gain the basic principles of fishkeeping and aquaculture
  • Attain techniques to setup and maintain home-based aquarium systems for freshwater ornamental fish
  • Learn skills to beautify aquarium systems
  • Achieve a continuous active lifestyle for senior citizens

Certification of Participation will be awarded to participants
who achieve at least 75% attendance.

Course Fees

Singaporeans aged 50 s & above: $159.60

Full course fee: $299.60

Singaporeans aged 50 years and above who wish to apply for the course at the special course fee will need to email a copy of their NRIC during the course fee payment before the course commencement.

Course fee is payable upon acceptance. It is inclusive of 7% GST and subject to review.
