Learn operation, installation and maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems and application of sustainable and green building design concept to built environment.
Attain knowledge to prepare and select contractual arrangements and manage tendering arrangements. Comprehend practices of fire safety and roles and responsibilities of fire safety manager.
Applicants with any of the following qualifications are invited to apply for the course:
A local Polytechnic Diploma / Degree in Engineering, Technology or Physics
Practitioners or those seeking a career switch
A local Polytechnic Diploma/ Degree in non-engineering / non-technology disciplines
A credit or minimum grade of C6 in GCE “O” level Physics or Physical Science
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
Applicants who do not meet the entry requirements may be considered for admission to the course based on evidence of at least 5 years of relevant working experience or supporting evidence of competency readiness. Suitable applicants who are shortlisted may have to go through an interview and/or entrance test. The Polytechnic reserves the right to shortlist and admit applicants.
