Over the past few years there is an exponential increase in the number of cyber threats and attacks. This course would play a part towards enlarging the pool of experts with sophisticated cyber security skills.

Interested in a career as an ethical hacker/pen-tester? Want to play a critical role in assessing and improving the security posture of your company’s systems, network, and web applications? Want to upskill your employees in penetration testing? Join this course to gain foundational ethical hacking and penetration testing knowledge and skills.

At the end of the course, participants will be able to:

  • Acquire the principles of ethical hacking, penetration testing methodology, reconnaissance of IT infrastructure, scanning for network, systems, and web application vulnerabilities, and developing attack vectors to exploit the vulnerabilities
  • Learn the techniques and tools malicious hackers use, but in a lawful and legitimate manner, with a goal to assess the potential impact and risk of an actual cyberattack
  • Get trained to deploy countermeasures to mitigate the risks of exploitation

This course is designed to train participants to play a critical role in assessing and improving the security posture of their company’s systems, network, and web applications. It includes theory, hands-on practical labs, and pen-testing projects. It is taught by certified trainers in the field of network penetration testing and web app penetration testing. Participants will learn to use software such as Kali Linux, Metasploit, Burp Suite and many other hacking tools.

In-class assessments.

Certificate    of Performance will be awarded to participants who achieved at least 75% in attendance and passed all required assessment(s).

Full course fee: $2,493.10

Course fee is payable upon acceptance. It is inclusive of 7% GST and subject to review.

Entry Requirements
  • Applicants should have undertaken GCE ‘O’ Levels course of study
  • Applicants should preferably have either a diploma or a degree in the field of ICT
  • Applicants should have experience and/or educational background in fundamentals of cyber security
  • Basic Windows / Linux user skills and a fundamental understanding of computer and networking concepts
