Trainer's Profile

Derrick Chew is a StoryBrand consultant, a film and theatre producer and international speaker. Derrick understands what is needed to tell a good story and how to do so. He graduated from the School of Film & Media Studies (Ngee Ann Polytechnic) and majored in Marketing at RMIT University. He spent the last 15 years in the media and entertainment industry in the capacity of director, producer and branding and marketing manager.

Mentored by veteran theatre producer and acclaimed actress Tan Kheng Hua ("Crazy Rich Asians" ), Derrick was the marketing manager for Adrian Pang's theatre company Pangdemonium Productions from 2010-2012 before starting his own theatre company, Sight Lines Productions. His short film, "Conversations", won Best Film at the Singapore International Film Festival and received Honorary Mention in Spain, Germany and France.

Derrick has been featured prominently in various mainstream media outlets in Singapore.

A Certificate of Performance will be awarded to participants who achieve at least 75% attendance and pass all required assessment(s).

A Certificate of Participation will be awarded to participants who meet the 75% attendance requirement but did not pass all required assessment(s).
