Computer Aided Engineering Drafting
Emerging Skills Classification: Basic
Formal Course/ 4 months
This module trains students in the principles of the international graphic language for engineering based on International Standard Organization (ISO) and Singapore Standards (SS) guidelines. You will undergo short lectures and hands-on exercises to create mechanical engineering drawing using various techniques. You will learn how to use AutoCAD, and will pick up skills in orthographic projection, sectioning, dimensioning, conventional representation and assembly drawing.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
Applicants who do not meet the entry requirements may be considered for admission to the course based on evidence of at least 5 years of relevant working experience or supporting evidence of competency readiness. Suitable applicants who are shortlisted may have to go through an interview and/or entrance test. The Polytechnic reserves the right to shortlist and admit applicants.
