What You Will Learn
At the end of the course, participants will be able to: 
  • Understand financial services industry and its products and services, as well as develop an awareness of industry trends related to Technology and Operations.
  • Appreciate governance principles, risk management concepts, and compliance requirements relating to the Technology and Operations functions of financial institutions.
  • Demonstrate familiarity of core concepts and skills around product and system development life cycle, IT testing, data management and systems and process performance management.
  • Apply working knowledge of the principles of finance and accounting relevant to the record keeping and financial / management reporting and internal controls typically established within Operations of financial institutions.
  • Monitor operations performance management indicators to drive continuous improvement and define actions to improve operations performance from a productivity, customer and risk perspective.
  • Demonstrate understanding of transaction flow and relevant FS IT application types for products and services relevant to Commercial banking.

In-class assessments.

Certificate of Performance will be awarded to participants who achieve at least 75% attendance and pass assessments.

Certificate of Participation will be awarded to participants who meet the 75% attendance requirement but did not pass assessments.

Full course fee: $1070.00

Course fee is payable upon acceptance. It is inclusive of 7% GST and subject to review.
