  5. Apply evidence-based cognitive-behavioural strategies to promote and support adherence to active lifestyles 

  6. Understand the unique needs of different special populations, such as the elderly, post-injury, pregnant women, eating disorders 

  7. [note: this is a non-clinical course; coaches will be taught to refer out to clinical specialists for some conditions)

In-class assessments.
Certificate of Performance will be awarded to participants who achieve at least 75% attendance and pass assessments.
