The online course is composed of video lectures taught by the Senior Lecturers, readings that complement the topics addressed in the lectures, and video interviews from Industry experts to illustrate specific points raised by the lecturers. This course is self-paced and can be completed anytime before the end of the course duration.

Completion of all the modules and Assessment Quizzes leads to a Certificate of Completion of “Around FinTech in 8 Hours”. Participants can also benefit from online discussion forums, where they can share, comment and exchange ideas on discussed topics.

The course duration is estimated to be between 8 - 10 hours.

Course Fees​
Course fee (without GST) $540, GST $37.80.
Total course fee (inclusive GST) is $577.80.

This programme has been accredit​ed under the IBF Standards Training Scheme (IBF-STS), which provides course fee subsidies to eligible company-sponsored individuals and self-sponsored individuals who complete training and ​assessment courses accredited under the Skills Framework for Financial Services (up to a grant cap of $7,000 per programme).

With the announcement on the IBF enhanced course fee subsidies, course run that commences on/after 8 Apr 2020, the fee subsidies for the course is raised to 90% until 31 Dec 2021, and an additional IBF Credit of 5% to offset course fees until 31 Dec 2020. The above is subject to all eligibility criterial being met.

For courses that commence between 8 Apr 2020 to 31 Dec 2020 (both dates inclusive), and completed no later than 31 Mar 2021, IBF had announced additional Training Allowance Grant (TAG) to eligible participants upon the successful completion and passing the assessment component of the programme.

Reimbursement of all claimable subsidies and grants under IBF-STS is through PayNow via NRIC only. Candidates seeking IBF funding are required to register for PayNow with their NRIC, in order to receive the reimbursements successfully.
