I was actively involved in driving the startup's business development! DRVR had confidence in my calibre and trusted me to handle very important business matters. For example, I was responsible for pitching a business development proposal in Taiwan, which was very well-received. I have also received job offers in both Thailand and Taiwan. If not for GEIP, I wouldn't have such an enriching experience and networking opportunity.Victoria Tan, Year 3, Psychology StudiesGlobal Entrepreneurial Internship Programme (GEIP) at DRVR, Bangkok
In my Year 2 Paediatric Vision Eye Screening module, I performed vision checks and eye health checks for children from lower income families in the neighbourhood. Although it was a quick check, I realised that I made an impact to children's quality of life. It helps me to understand and connect better with my patients, while improving my skills through practice.Mohd Fadilah Nadiyah, Year 2, OptometryService Learning in action

I had financial help from NP's Kickstart Fund, a grant supporting students' startup to $5000. I started üNIK Apparel, a streetwear brand that supports youths by translating their stories into graphic art on curated clothing pieces last year. We've sold internationally in 27 cities, including London, New York and Shanghai, and even attended Melbourne Fashion Week 2018!

We had to carry out actual market research to propose solutions for companies. I learnt the importance of target market knowledge as it's the foundation for innovative thinking. During our two-week stay, we visited companies to learn about company operations, current technologies like AI and new business practices. This increased my passion in innovation and entrepreneurship.Charlotte Lim, Year 3, Business StudiesOverseas Innovation Challenge

The two weeks spent in Taiwan challenged me understand and solve different communities’ issues. I made friends from other academic schools and learnt from their expertise and experiences. Hearing their different perspectives enabled me to propose a better solution to these issues. Through SLC, I learnt how to set specific project goals while having empathy.Kelvin Goh, Class of 2019, Mass CommunicationSocial Leadership Challenge (SLC)
My OIP in China was amazing. I got to study at Tianjin University of Commerce and everything, from food to making friends local students, will stay in my heart! We even had a chef to teach us hands-on for our culinary classes, which reinforced my learning for modules like Food & Beverage Management.Lin Shuxiang, Year 3, Tourism & Resort ManagementOverseas Immersion Programme
