We warmly welcome you to Ngee Ann Polytechnic!
As the commencement of your studies in Ngee Ann Polytechnic are subject to the approval of a valid Student's Pass (STP) by the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA), it is important that you apply for and obtain a STP before the start of the school term.
Failure to do so will render you liable to appropriate action, including the withdrawal from the course offered.
Dependent's Pass holders: Students on Dependent's Pass (DP) will still have to apply for a STP through SOLAR. Once the In-Principle Approval (IPA) letter has been issued by ICA, you may decide if you want to hold on to your Dependent's Pass or to cancel it. A Letter of Consent (LOC) issued by ICA is required if you want to study while on a valid Dependent's Pass. Please submit your LOC request to ICA at
