Synopsis: Imran Mean formerly from ITE College West, developed a passion for volunteering during the Covid-19 pandemic. Even after graduating ITE and entering NP, he continued his volunteer efforts, raising $2,500 through an online donation campaign to aid essential workers. He founded IM Volunteers Network SG (IMVN) in 2020 which aims to inspire and champion youth volunteerism by coordinating meaningful community causes to benefit society. Seeking meaningful work, Imran discovered the Diploma in Community Development that aligns with his goals. Initiatives in Budget 2024 that provide financial support for ITE students pursuing a diploma, can offer additional incentives for individuals like Imran.
