Aims & Objectives

  • Discover the fundamentals of business through applications of business concepts and principles

  • Learn the principles of economics, financial and cost management, marketing, human resource management, business operations and business IT

  • Understand fundamental entrepreneurial concepts and issues

  • Start and manage a simple business event

 

Learning Outcomes

At the end of the module, students will be able to:

  • Specify the basic business principles and disciplines

  • Describe how the business principles are applied to a business enterprise

  • Start and manage a simple business event


Teaching & Learning Approaches

Mini lectures cum experiential sessions will be conducted in this 40- contact-hour module. Real-life case studies will be used to help students understand the application of entrepreneurial process to the real world.
