How do I go about booking the studios and facilities?
Ans: You can book the studios and facilities through our website at http://www.np.edu.sg/studio27

How long am I allowed to use the facilities?
Ans: The guidelines for the use of various facilities are available on the booking system.

What happens when I am not finished with my game?
Ans: You are only allowed to play within your booking time. After which, the system will automatically lock you out.

What if I have used up my maximum allowable time for the week and I need to use the facilities urgently?
Ans: Please contact us at ext 8052/8991. Alternatively, you can walk-in to our Staff office at Studio27, Blk 27 level 1to check on its availability. Approval is given on a case-by-case basis.

Who should I look for if I wish to cancel my booking at the last moment? 
Ans: You can cancel your booking online by clicking the (X) sign on the date and day that you have already booked.

Will there be any form of penalties if I do so? 
Ans: No

What if I do not turn up for my booking? Do I receive any form of penalties?
Ans: No, but the system will track your identity for record purpose. If it’s done more than three times, the system will bar you from future booking

What happens when I break/lose any equipment?
Ans: Please report to the Staff Office immediately. User is solely responsible for any loss or damage to the equipment during the period of his/her use.

Do I have to pay to use the facilities? 
Ans: No.

Can outsiders make use of the facilities?
Ans: No. Studio27 facilities are open to all NP students and staff only.

Can I book the facilities for my CCA, activity group?
Ans: Yes. For training purposes, please contact us to ensure that the appropriate arrangements can be made to further assist your group in your training programme.

How many days in advance must I book for the facilities? 
Ans: Online booking is available 2 weeks in advance.

Am I allowed to book the facilities on the day itself?
Ans: For urgent matters, please contact us at ext 8052/8991 and we will review it on a case-by-case basis.

What are some basic rules for usage of the facilities?
Ans: Please view our guidelines on the booking system for more information.

Are food and beverages allowed in the facilities? 
Ans: No

Am I allowed to use the meeting room? 
Ans: Students are only allowed to use the meeting room if the room is not booked or occupied for that day.

What if I need to use the facilities urgently and I can’t afford to book 2 weeks in advance for it?
Ans: For urgent request, please walk-in to our Staff Office at Blk 27 Level 1 and register with the staff-in-charge. Approval is on a case-by-case basis.

I am not trained in using the facilities & equipment but I wish to use it. Am I still allowed to book and use them?  
Ans: No. Studio27 is a self-help learning environment. User must be trained before being allowed to use the facilities & equipment.

Who should I look for if I wish to be trained in using the facilities & equipment?
Ans: You can contact the staff office at ext 8052/8991 to arrange for a suitable date and time for training. A staff member will be present to oversee operations for first- time user.

Will I be given special priority if I were to conduct a training programme or do a video recording in the facilities or studios?
Ans: Yes. Priority will be given to video production, sound recording, training programmes for Dreamwerkz, JAMWerkz, Gamerz Arena  respectively. You can contact the Staff Office at ext 8052/8991 to discuss the details of your request and also make a booking if it’s more that 2 week
