ASMI is a non-profit trade association formed in 1968 to promote the interests of the marine industry in Singapore. ASMI represents a wide cross-section of the Singapore ship repair and shipbuilding industry. All the major ship-repair yards, rig builders and shipbuilders in Singapore as well as most of the established local and foreign manufacturers and suppliers of marine components, and major marine engineering companies are among its members. It also represents marine contractors and those companies whose activities are directly related to the industry including classification societies and marine consultants. - Full-time diploma in Marine & Offshore Technology (MOT)
- Singaporean or PR
- Good 'O' level results
- Good CCA
- Outstanding Leadership & communication skill

Tenure and Value of Award |
- Tenable for 3 years
- Covers tuition fees & other compulsory fees, one-off laptop allowance up to $1,500 and allowances of $7,200 per annum

- Successful applicants will be bonded to the sponsoring shipyard for 3-year service upon graduation
- Award recipient must sign a deed with sponsoring shipyard and 2 sureties (Gainfully employed Singaporean / PR with monthly income of at least $1,500)
